Inquiry program is the best way to build students' quality and improve their overall ability. To welcome the new semester, IHP organized a "Sailing Together" trip to Huizhou Xunliao Bay for all 9th and 10th grade students. Under the guidance of the teachers, the children stepped out into the vast ocean to learn and experience a variety of technical water activities. In the process of getting in touch with nature, they cultivated curiosity, leadership and teamwork, and experienced the wonders of living in harmony with nature.
开展丰富多样的探究课程是品格塑造的最佳途径，也是提高学生综合能力与素质的最好方式。为了迎接新学期的到来，IHP国际高中组织了全体九、十年级的学生开展了一场名为“携手起航”的惠州巽寮湾海上研学旅程。在老师们的引领下，孩子们踏上了浩瀚无际的海洋，学习体验各种技术性的水上项目。他们在与大自然亲密接触的过程中，培养好奇心、领导力和团队精神，感受顺应自然、与自然共生的奇妙之处。
Kayaking challenges students' balance, physical strength and team spirit. They must carefully adjust their posture, accurately anticipate the frequent changes of the water current, and tacitly cooperate with their teammates in order to paddle a smooth trajectory. In this process, they learned patience and persistence, and felt the importance and power of teamwork.
划动船桨，舟身轻盈地滑过水面，皮划艇挑战着学生们的平衡力、体力和团队精神。他们必须细致地调整姿势，准确预判水流的变化，与队友密切沟通、默契配合，才能划出流畅的轨迹。在这个过程中，他们学会了耐心和坚持，更感受到了团队合作的重要性和力量。
Overcame the fear of water, carefully followed the instructions of the instructor, wore the diving equipment correctly and dived into the sea, which was a program that requires courage. Dived into the sea and experienced a whole new world. We came into close contact with the creatures of the sea, felt the magic and magnificence of nature, and reflected the importance of the environmental protection.
克服对水的恐惧，认真遵从教练的指导，正确戴好潜水装备，毅然跃入海中，这是一个需要勇气的项目。潜入大海，体验一个全新的世界，在海底的探险中，我们近距离接触到海中的生灵，感受到大自然的神奇与瑰丽，反思尊重自然和环境保护的重要性。
Learning to sail is an exciting and exhilarating experience. We felt the power of the wind and the expanse of the sea as the boat travelled at speed. Problems such as how to observe the wind, how to maneuver the sailboat, how to adjust the sail angle, etc. were solved independently by the students by recalling what the instructor has taught them. It was a vivid independent learning lesson. This process not only enriched the students' knowledge, but also practiced their team spirit and cultivated their problem-solving ability.
学习帆船是一段令人激动而振奋的经历，在船体快速航行的旅途中，尽情感受到风的力量和海的宽广。如何观察风向、如何操控帆船，如何调整帆角等等问题，都由学生们通过回想教练所教内容，独立解决。一路下来，就是一堂生动的自主学习课。这个过程不仅丰富了学生们的知识，更锻炼了他们的团队精神，培养了他们解决问题的能力。
Beach Games, Water Gun Battle...everyone ran on the beach, experiencing the infinite fun brought by the sunshine and waves, with laughter and cheers. As the night coming, the bonfire party was officially opened, and the new students gathered around the barbecue grill, sharing food, warmth and happiness. The light of the bonfire dispelled the strangeness between the new students, and the deep friendship between the new students was gradually established.
沙滩运动会、水枪大战...大家在沙滩上尽情奔跑，体验阳光与海浪带来的无限乐趣，笑声和欢呼声此起彼伏。随着夜幕降临，篝火晚会正式开启，新生们聚集在烧烤炉旁，共同分享食物、温暖和快乐。篝火的光芒驱散了新生彼此之间的陌生感，深厚的友谊正逐渐建立。
We traveled to Xunliao Bay, the vast ocean, where we tried many water sports that we had never tried before. Kayaking on the sea, I was thrilled; sailing in the sea, I was excited; diving in the sea , I felt as if I had become a small fish! The most unforgettable is the kayak race. Our team tried their best to rush to the terminal. We didn't win, but I'm so proud of it! The cooperation and friendship among teammates touched me the most. These three days and two nights have left me with memories that I will never forget. I think this is definitely one of the most wonderful field trips in my life!

Organized by the school and aiming at developing students' leadership skills, the inquiry lessons went on as planned. From the hustle and bustle of the city to the blue sky and blue water, we traveled to Huizhou. During the three-day study, we participated in snorkeling, kayaking and sailing learning courses. This series of courses allowed us to acquire knowledge of the sea, strengthen our perseverance, improve our sense of teamwork, and gave us new experiences. In short, this three-day trip has laid a solid foundation for our leadership development. There is no doubt that it is a worthwhile trip.

惠州研学课程，激荡我心灵的三天两夜。我们来到了有着苍茫大海的巽寮湾。在这片汪洋中，我们尝试了许多从未尝试过的水上运动。皮划艇在海面上驰骋，我激动万分；帆船在海风中翱翔，我兴奋难耐；潜水时我仿佛变成了一条小鱼，自由畅快！最让我难忘的是皮划艇比赛，我们队拼尽全力冲向终点，虽败犹荣！队友间的合作和友谊最让我感动。这三天两夜，丰富多彩的项目给我留下了永生难忘的记忆。我想，这绝对是我一生中最精彩的研学之旅之一！

During the "Sailing Together" Xunliao Bay Inquiry Program, the children have grown far beyond our expectations. They learned how to maintain balance among the waves, how to sail with the sea breeze, and how to live harmoniously with natural creatures. These skills are not only the accumulation of knowledge, but also the refining of teamwork, communication & coordination, and the cultivation of confidence and courage.
More importantly, this valuable experience will be remembered in their hearts, and the precious qualities forged during this journey will become the nutrients for their growth, inspiring them to always go forward and pursue their dreams in their voyage of life.
在本次“携手起航”巽寮湾探究课程中，孩子们收获了远超预期的成长。他们学会了如何在海浪间保持平衡，如何利用海风帆航，如何与自然生灵和谐协同。这些技巧不仅是技能的积累，更是对团队合作、沟通协调的锤炼，是对自信心和勇气的培养。
更重要的是，这段宝贵的经历将铭记在他们心中，这趟旅程中所锻造出来的珍贵品质也将成为他们成长的养分，激励他们在人生航程中永远勇往直前，追逐自己的梦想。
